5. Location Data & Tracking

5.1 When Location is Collected

• Parents: During child registration (one-time pickup/drop locations)
• Drivers: Continuously during active rides only
• Background Tracking: Location is collected in the background only for drivers during active rides

5.2 How to Control Location Access

You can control location permissions in your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Location Services → QademNow
• Android: Settings → Apps → QademNow → Permissions → Location

6. Children's Privacy

QademNow is designed to transport school children, but the app is used by adults (parents and drivers). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All child information is provided by parents or legal guardians.

Parents have full control over their children's information and can:

• View and edit child profiles
• Delete child information at any time
• Control child visibility and availability

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Update

You can access and update your information through the app:

• Child management for children's details
• Driver profile for driver-specific information

7.2 Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of your data:

• Delete Account: Contact support to delete your account and all associated data
• Delete Children: Remove individual child profiles from the app

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services:

• Active Accounts: Data retained while account is active
• Closed Accounts: Data deleted within 90 days of account closure

• Location History: Driver location history retained for 30 days
• Attendance Records: Retained for current school year plus 2 years

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We use Firebase services which may store data in multiple regions. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.
